Working Towards Wellbeing (part of OSEL Enterprises Ltd) is looking for passionate Employment Advisors to support individuals with barriers to employment into meaningful work.
About the Role
You’ll provide 1:1, face-to-face support across the Isle of Wight, helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve sustainable employment.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with tailored, person-centred approaches
- Work with partners such as Jobcentre Plus, NHS, Social Care, and employers
- Build strong employer relationships and secure job opportunities
- Manage referrals from GPs, mental health services, and other organisations
- Help individuals gain and retain employment
- Occasional flexible/out-of-hours work may be required
Qualifications
- Experience supporting people to achieve goals
- Knowledge of mental health, learning disabilities or neurodiversity
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good IT skills, experience with Office 365
- Proactive, motivated and compassionate
- Full driving licence and access to a car
- Enhanced DBS required
