Earnings: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 5 Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a full-time, 10-month fixed term basis covering a period of maternity leave, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

About the role
- To deliver safe, effective and evidence‑based nursing care to patients and their families within the Outpatient Department.
- To work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve and maintain an outstanding, patient‑focused service.
- To provide support/education to more junior members of staff and supervise Healthcare Assistants.
- To act as a shift leader or deputise for the Outpatient Sister, as required.
For Clinical Roles: The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.
About you
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Be a Registered Nurse with post registration relevant clinical course.
- Have current and relevant experience as an Outpatient Nurse with experience in supervising HCAs and evidence of CPD, ideally with the private healthcare sector.
