About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- The post-holder will undertake all clinical work in the Imaging Department.
- They will be able to demonstrate specialised knowledge and expertise and support the Imaging Lead.
- To deliver a high‐quality diagnostic imaging service.
- To participate in the vetting and prioritising of all Imaging examinations according to departmental guidelines and in the optimisation and development of protocols.
- Producing high quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment, while demonstrating high standards of care.
- The responsibilities will include training and supervision of junior staff and assistant staff in both the delivery of the service and their individual development needs in a motivational manner.
About you
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Diploma of College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC registered
- Competent across a range of clinical skills supported by professional competence and knowledge
