Bank Breast Care Nurse Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Breast Care Nurse Specialist to join our Outpatients team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a Bank basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

Your responsibilities will include:

• To be responsible for reviewing existing Breast Care Unit, including the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and care pathways.
• This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive care and support to patients with breast cancer and other breast-related conditions.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC registration and postgraduate qualification in breast care nursing or oncology nursing, ideally with leadership and management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in breast care or oncology nursing with experience in setting up or managing a clinical unit.
• Knowledge of CQC requirements and clinical governance issues.
