Senior Collections Advisor

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Collections Advisor to join our team based in Manchester. You will receive a base salary between £27,000 – 35,000 plus loads of great benefits including hybrid working, private health care, regular salary reviews and more!

The Role:

As a key member of our Collections Team, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers navigating financial difficulties. You\’ll provide empathetic, solutions-focused support and play a crucial role in helping them get back on track.

Duties:

• Handling inbound and outbound calls with customers regarding missed payments
• Creating tailored payment plans that work for our customers
• Collaborating with specialist teams to support customers in vulnerable situations
• Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions
• Identifying process improvements to enhance our service
• Proactively managing your caseload and meeting key performance targets

Ideal candidate:

• Experience in Payment Support, Collections, Reconciliations or Recoveries (essential)
• Outstanding communication and listening skills
• A strong understanding of financial support principles
• Empathy and a desire to help customers improve their financial wellbeing
• The ability to stay organised and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
