Summary: Oscar are just kicking off the search for a Pricing Analyst to join a well-established company that we have placed professionals with for many years. This is a great opportunity to join a successful company with a busy data division, to contribute to their overall business growth. The role is offered on a hybrid basis (3 days on-site / 2 days WF) with offices based in the Rochdale, Greater Manchester area.
The Role: For this role we can consider a graduate, but you must be able to start within 4 weeks, or someone with up to a yearsβ experience in any analytical role. In this role you will complete the CIMA qualification, which is fully paid for by the company. In addition you will be entitled to pay reviews and increases in line with completing major milestones in the course. If you have already started the qualification then you can easily pick up from where you are currently.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse market trends, supply and demand, historical sales to build on pricing models
- Use of data to drive profit and volume
- Optimisation of price points for products
- Look to drive growth in other sectors
- Help to build a new pricing function, reduce impact of pricing mistakes
Requirements:
- Technology β SQL, Python, Excel
- Communication β you will need to speak with other teams and senior stakeholders
- Education β 2.1 or above in a STEM Subject is essential β Maths / Physics / Engineering / Statistics / Chemistry preferred.
