IP Services EngineerAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced IP Services Engineer to join a large enterprise technology environment, providing operational support across critical network services. This is a hands-on production support role, focused on maintaining service availability, troubleshooting complex technical issues and responding to business-impacting incidents. You will work as part of an experienced technical team, taking ownership of issues through to resolution and supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of network services. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide operational support across enterprise IP and network services. Act as a technical point of escalation for complex network incidents. Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve business-impacting network issues. Support incident, problem and change management activities. Analyse network behaviour using monitoring, diagnostic and troubleshooting tools. Support testing of disaster recovery and resilience scenarios. Support service improvements and operational initiatives. Experience7+ years' experience working with network technologies and protocols. Strong understanding of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals. Experience across routing, switching and network services. Experience supporting load balancing or application delivery services. Proven experience troubleshooting complex network problems. Experience working within an operational, production or BAU environment. Experience using network monitoring and diagnostic tools. A flexible approach to working with teams across different locations and time zones. Cloud or hybrid networking environments. Agile working environments. Financial services or other large enterprise environments. Network-related professional certifications.
