Senior Network / Infrastructure Engineer | Leicester | Hybrid | 50,000-60,000We're partnering with a highly reputable organisation near Leicester to recruit a Senior Network / Infrastructure Engineer.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days working from home after probation, offering the opportunity to work within a large-scale enterprise environment supporting 7,000+ endpoints, 1,600+ Cisco LAN devices and 220+ WAN links across the UK.
The Role You'll act as a senior escalation point, providing technical leadership while designing, implementing, maintaining and optimising critical network and infrastructure services.
Key Skills & Experience Advanced hands-on Cisco networking experience.
Strong LAN/WLAN/WAN troubleshooting across multiple sites.
Advanced routing: BGP, EIGRP & OSPF.
Network design, implementation and optimisation.
Strong understanding of network security.
CCNA, CCNP or equivalent experience.
Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Wireless.
Knowledge of Cisco Firepower FMC, ISE and ISE-PIC highly desirable.
Experience with Azure / hybrid environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to handle complex escalations.
Previous experience providing technical leadership or mentoring.
