Can you take true ownership of our core Virtual infrastructure and DR platforms? If you enjoy being the technical authority, shaping designs, improving systems, and making sure everything runs smoothly, this role will be right up your street.
You’ll analyse requirements, design future-proof solutions, document them clearly, and lead the technical delivery end-to-end. Day to day, you’ll own incidents, oversee upgrades, maintain core platforms, and ensure our environments stay secure, resilient, and well-governed. You’ll also be the final escalation point for complex issues, mentoring others and driving a culture of continual improvement.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience with VMware, Hyper-V, SAN/NAS, DR tooling (Veeam, Commvault, Zerto)
- Solid Windows Server and AD skills (GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS, RDS)
- Azure knowledge across networking, storage, and server management
- Good grounding in networking (Cisco/Meraki), monitoring tools, and PowerShell
- A proactive mindset, sharp troubleshooting skills, and technical leadership ability
