Overview
In this hands-on IT Support Analyst role, you act as the first point of contact for colleagues, owning tickets from diagnosis to resolution or escalation. You will troubleshoot Windows devices and Microsoft 365, manage user accounts in AD and M365, and deploy and support devices across multiple sites. You’ll work closely with the IT team to identify recurring issues and implement lasting fixes while occasionally providing on-site support. This role offers broad exposure to a modern tech environment and opportunities to develop practical IT skills.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incidents and service requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Troubleshoot Windows devices, Microsoft 365 apps, email, and common software
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers
- Install software and support device updates
- Keep tickets and documentation accurate and up to date
- Identify recurring issues and coordinate with IT for fixes
- Provide occasional on-site support at other locations
Key requirements
- Experience in a service desk, desktop support, or IT support role
- Good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
- Exposure to Active Directory user administration
- Confidence troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues
- Familiarity with a ticketing system
- Clear communication skills and a helpful approach
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
