Overview
As IT Asset & Procurement Manager, you will own the hardware, software and cloud asset estate across multiple sites. You will improve data quality in the CMDB, drive licensing excellence and cost-aware procurement decisions. You’ll implement robust processes, controls and reporting to support budgeting, compliance and investment planning. This role offers ownership, cross-site collaboration and a tangible impact on efficiency and risk reduction. Your work will shape how assets are governed and optimised to enable informed decisions.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware, software and cloud assets
- Improve asset records, licence data, contracts and CMDB accuracy
- Lead audits, reconciliations and compliance reviews
- Manage IT suppliers and support procurement activity
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, manage risk and improve utilisation
- Produce reporting to support budgeting and lifecycle planning
- Build clear processes and controls for teams to follow consistently
Key requirements
- Experience in IT asset management, software asset management or licence management
- Understanding of ITSM and CMDB tools
- Comfort working with suppliers, contracts and business stakeholders
- Ability to translate asset data into practical recommendations
- Willingness to travel to other sites and hold a full UK driving licence
