A teenager at their first youth weekend. A couple who have come every summer for twenty years. A group of men who drove up from London for a men’s weekend. More than 2,000 guests come to Capernwray for a holiday each year, from across the UK and around the world.
We are looking for someone to make their stay run smoothly, from the first email to the moment they walk through the door.
What you’ll do
- You will look after each booking from start to finish: answering questions, taking payments, allocating rooms and making sure the kitchen knows who can’t eat gluten. When guests arrive, you will lead the team that welcomes them.
- We are developing a new Holidays booking and customer data system (CRM), and you will help shape it. If you enjoy tidy data and finding easier ways of working, you will have room to make a real difference.
- During holidays, you will also serve on Guest Teams, getting to know guests of all ages.
You’ll be a good fit if you are
- Organised and accurate, and like seeing things done properly
- Friendly and confident on the phone, by email and in person
- Confident with technology and open to enhancing how we operate
- Share our Christian faith and would enjoy being part of a residential community
- Experience in bookings, hospitality or events would help, but it isn’t essential.
