We’re working with a specialist IT consultancy at the forefront of data privacy, GDPR compliance, and information governance. With demand for their services growing rapidly, they’re looking to bring on board an experienced Business Development Executive to help them build strategic client relationships and drive new revenue in the data protection space.
You’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across the UK, engaging with mid-market to enterprise-level clients who require expert guidance on compliance, data handling, and risk mitigation. You’ll work closely with internal data protection consultants and technical teams to build tailored, client-centric solutions that address evolving regulatory and operational needs.
Responsibilities:- Proactively source and engage new business prospects in regulated sectors (legal, finance, healthcare, etc.)
- Promote consultancy services such as GDPR audits, DPO as a Service, privacy impact assessments, and training
- Attend industry events, webinars, and networking functions to generate leads and brand visibility
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and tender responses with support from the delivery team
- Maintain CRM records, track pipeline activity, and report on sales performance
- 1 years’ experience in a consultative sales
- CRM experience (Salesforce) – desirable
- Free on-site parking
