We are recruiting a Corporate Tax Manager for a highly respected and growing accountancy and advisory firm based in Yeovil. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced corporate tax professional to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, deliver complex advisory projects, and continue progressing within a collaborative and forward-thinking firm.

This role is ideal for an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager ready to step up, or an existing Corporate Tax Manager looking for broader exposure and long-term progression opportunities.

The Role

As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will play a key role in delivering both corporation tax compliance and advisory services to a varied portfolio of clients, working closely with partners and senior leadership. You will oversee the compliance process, ensuring tax returns are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed deadlines. You will identify tax planning opportunities, support risk management strategies, and provide commercially focused advice tailored to client needs. The role will involve working on a range of complex corporate tax matters while maintaining proactive and professional communication with clients throughout the year. Alongside client delivery responsibilities, you will support the development of junior team members through mentoring, coaching, and reviewing work, helping to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. The position offers exposure to a broad range of sectors and businesses, providing excellent opportunities to strengthen both your technical and client-facing expertise.

About You

You will be CTA qualified (or equivalent), with strong corporate tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice or professional services environment. You will have a strong mix of compliance and advisory expertise, alongside the ability to manage client relationships and provide strategic tax advice. Previous team management or mentoring experience would be advantageous, alongside strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively within a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a proactive mindset are essential.
