This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT, ACA or ACCA-qualified accountant with strong UK practice experience who is looking to take the next step in their career. You'll manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, taking responsibility for accounts preparation, client relationships and day-to-day accounting requirements, while supporting Managers and Partners and developing junior team members. Manage a portfolio of clients and act as a key contact for accounting matters Prepare and review year-end statutory accounts Prepare management accounts and financial information Assist with corporation tax computations and returns Support personal tax work where required Review bookkeeping and accounting records for accuracy Provide clients with practical accounting and financial support Support Managers and Partners on more complex assignments Assist with training and developing junior staff Previous accountancy practice experience managing a client portfolio AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and general accounting principles Good understanding of UK accounting standards and compliance Strong organisational and time management skills Comfortable reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues Hybrid and flexible working Competitive salary and benefits Professional development and training Clear career progression Apply today for a confidential discussion with Jack Wood on or .
