We're recruiting an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing accountancy practice in Taunton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CTA, ACA or ACCA-qualified tax professional with strong corporate and business tax experience. You'll manage a varied client portfolio, provide high-quality tax advice and play an important role in developing junior team members and supporting the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate and business tax clients
- Deliver high-quality corporate tax compliance and advisory services
- Provide commercially focused advice on corporation and business tax matters
- Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex assignments
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Review tax computations, returns and advisory work
- Mentor, coach and develop junior members of the tax team
- Identify opportunities for additional services and cross-referrals
- Support business development, networking and practice growth
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant developments
About You
- CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong corporate and business tax experience
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Strong client relationship and communication abilities
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members
- Commercially aware and proactive
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable with networking and business development
