We're recruiting an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join a growing accountancy practice in Taunton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CTA, ACA or ACCA-qualified tax professional with strong corporate and business tax experience. You'll take a senior role in managing client relationships, delivering complex tax advice, developing the team and supporting the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied portfolio of corporate and business tax clients
- Lead the delivery of complex corporate tax compliance and advisory assignments
- Provide commercially focused tax planning and strategic advice
- Act as a trusted adviser to clients and build strong long-term relationships
- Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex and high-value assignments
- Review tax computations, returns and technical advisory work
- Lead, mentor and develop managers and junior members of the tax team
- Identify opportunities for additional services and cross-referrals
- Take an active role in business development, networking and client growth
- Support the development of the corporate tax team and wider tax strategy
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and industry developments
About You
- CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
- Significant experience in corporate and business tax
- Strong technical knowledge and advisory experience
- Previous experience within an accountancy or professional services practice
- Proven ability to manage complex client relationships
- Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in business development and networking
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
