We're recruiting a Corporate Finance Associate Director for an established and growing accountancy practice in Solihull.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified corporate finance professional with proven transaction experience who is looking to take a senior role within a successful Midlands-based team.
You'll work with an entrepreneurial UK client base across M&A, lead advisory, valuations, due diligence and fundraising, taking responsibility for transactions and developing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage M&A and corporate finance transactions
- Manage sale and acquisition mandates from initial stages through to completion
- Negotiate key transaction terms and review legal documentation
- Prepare company valuations and financial models
- Lead financial due diligence and transaction analysis
- Prepare Information Memorandums and management presentations
- Support debt, equity and mezzanine fundraising projects
- Attend client meetings and provide high-quality transaction advice
- Conduct buyer, target and industry research
- Manage deal processes, timelines and key deliverables
- Develop sector expertise and build strong client relationships
- Coach and develop junior corporate finance team members
About You
- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
- Proven experience leading and executing corporate finance transactions
- Strong M&A and Lead Advisory experience
- Experience in valuations, due diligence and financial modelling
- Advanced Excel and financial forecasting skills
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple transactions
- Proactive, autonomous and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
