We are recruiting a Private Client Tax Senior Manager on behalf of a highly regarded and growing accountancy practice in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join a thriving tax team, managing a prestigious portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, trusts, estates, family offices, and owner-managed businesses. The Role

  • Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and business owners
  • Delivering complex private client tax advisory projects
  • Providing advice on Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Trusts, and Estate Planning
  • Reviewing complex personal tax returns and advisory reports
  • Building strong relationships with clients, HMRC, solicitors, and wealth managers
  • Leading client meetings and providing commercially focused tax advice
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting business development
  • Supporting Partners on complex advisory assignments
  • Mentoring and developing Managers, Assistant Managers, and junior staff
  • Maintaining the highest technical and professional standards

About You

  • CTA, ACA or ATT qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Significant experience within UK Private Client Tax
  • Strong technical knowledge of Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Trusts, and Estate Planning
  • Experience managing high-net-worth private clients
  • Strong advisory and client relationship management skills
  • Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior team members
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to business development
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
