We're recruiting an experienced Audit Partner or Audit Director ready to step up to join a growing accountancy practice in Norwich.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an audit professional who can combine technical expertise, client relationship management and business development to help strengthen and grow the firm's audit offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver high-quality audit services to SMEs, mid-sized businesses and larger groups
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Take responsibility for audit quality, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and professional standards
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the audit portfolio
  • Support the strategic development of the firm's audit offering
  • Lead, inspire and develop audit teams
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients and provide commercially focused advice
  • Work collaboratively with Partners and other service lines across the wider firm
  • Contribute to the continued growth and market presence of the business

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
  • Significant post-qualified experience within external audit
  • Experienced Audit Partner or Audit Director ready for Partnership
  • RI status advantageous, or demonstrably on track to achieve RI
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and audit regulations
  • Proven client relationship and business development skills
  • Strong leadership and team development experience
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop opportunities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A strong cultural fit with a collaborative and forward-thinking practice
