We are recruiting a Personal Tax Senior Manager on behalf of a fast-growing and highly regarded accountancy practice in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager, Personal Tax Senior Manager, or established Private Client Tax Manager looking to take the next step in their career. The role offers significant exposure to high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and private clients, with a strong focus on advisory work, client relationships, team leadership, and business development.

The Role

As a Personal Tax Senior Manager, you will take ownership of a high-quality private client portfolio and work closely with Partners on complex advisory assignments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and private clients
  • Providing advice across Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, domicile, residency, and wider tax planning
  • Leading complex private client tax advisory projects
  • Reviewing personal tax returns and overseeing compliance delivery
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to clients and their professional advisers
  • Managing client billing, WIP, and portfolio profitability
  • Identifying tax planning and business development opportunities
  • Building and maintaining long-term client and intermediary relationships
  • Mentoring and developing Managers, Seniors, and junior team members
  • Supporting Partners with the continued growth and development of the Private Client Tax team
  • Contributing to process improvements, technical development, and wider departmental strategy

About You

You'll have:

  • CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualification
  • Significant experience within UK Private Client Tax
  • Strong technical knowledge across personal tax compliance and advisory
  • Experience advising high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and business development ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience using IRIS Personal Tax would be advantageous.
