We're recruiting an experienced Audit Partner or Audit Director ready to step up to join a growing accountancy practice in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious audit professional to take a leading role in client delivery, audit quality, team leadership and business development, working with a varied portfolio of SMEs, mid-market businesses and larger groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Deliver high-quality audits in line with UK GAAP, IFRS and professional standards
  • Act as a trusted adviser to clients, providing commercially focused insight
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships
  • Lead, mentor and develop audit teams, supporting a high-performance culture
  • Drive audit quality, technical excellence and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with other service lines to deliver joined-up solutions for clients
  • Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the wider audit practice

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
  • Significant post-qualified experience within external audit
  • Proven experience leading audit engagements and managing client relationships
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards
  • Experience working with SMEs, owner-managed businesses and/or larger groups
  • Strong commercial awareness and business development capability
  • Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing and developing audit teams
  • RI status, or the ability and willingness to obtain RI status
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ambition to contribute at Partner level
