Job Description VAT Manager – Exeter Hybrid & Flexible Working Competitive Salary + Benefits We are recruiting a VAT Manager on behalf of a highly respected and growing accountancy and business advisory firm in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced VAT Manager, Indirect Tax Manager, or Senior VAT professional to join a supportive and forward-thinking tax team, managing a varied portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality VAT and indirect tax advice. As a VAT Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients while taking responsibility for complex VAT compliance and advisory assignments. Managing a portfolio of VAT and indirect tax clients Advising clients on complex UK VAT and indirect tax matters Leading technical VAT assignments from planning through to completion Identifying VAT planning opportunities and additional advisory work Supporting business development and identifying opportunities with existing and new clients Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualification, or equivalent experience Strong VAT experience gained within a UK accountancy practice or professional services environment Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability Experience with customs, international VAT, or wider indirect tax matters would be advantageous.
