This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior or Practice Accountant looking for a varied role covering accounts, audit, tax, VAT and bookkeeping , with the opportunity to develop specialist experience within the legal sector. Key Responsibilities Prepare year-end statutory accounts Work with law firms and professional services clients Assist with audit planning, fieldwork and testing Prepare management accounts and financial forecasts Prepare personal, partnership and corporation tax computations Prepare VAT returns Complete bookkeeping and bank reconciliations Analyse financial information and provide commercial insight Manage workloads, budgets and deadlines Build strong relationships with clients Support and supervise junior team members About You AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or studying Previous accountancy practice experience Experience in accounts preparation and ideally audit Good knowledge of UK accounts and tax Strong Excel and accounting software skills Excellent communication and client relationship skills Well organised with strong attention to detail Legal client or Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR) experience advantageous Proactive, professional and client-focused What's on Offer Hybrid and flexible working Varied accounts and audit work Exposure to legal and professional services clients Training and professional development Clear career progression Supportive and collaborative working environment Competitive salary and benefits Location Truro, Cornwall , with easy access from Falmouth, Penryn, Redruth, Camborne, St Agnes and Penzance .
