We're recruiting a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager for a leading accountancy practice in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Tax Senior or Assistant Manager looking to take the next step in their career and develop their experience across corporate tax compliance and advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients
- Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns
- Lead corporate tax advisory assignments
- Support R&D tax claims, capital allowances and corporate restructuring
- Gain exposure to transactions and tax due diligence
- Build strong client relationships and liaise with HMRC
- Review work and mentor junior tax team members
- Undertake technical tax research
- Identify tax planning and advisory opportunities
- Work closely with Managers, Senior Managers and Partners
About You
- Previous corporate tax experience within an accountancy practice
- ATT, CTA or ACA qualified, part-qualified or studying towards CTA
- Strong corporate tax compliance knowledge
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients
- Some exposure to corporate tax advisory work
- Confident reviewing work and supporting junior staff
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Commercial, proactive and keen to develop
