I am working with a well-established accountancy practice in the Bristol - Paulton area to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. This role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio and clear progression within practice.
The Role
- Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Assisting with management accounts preparation
- Preparation of corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
- Supporting senior team members with year-end work and client queries
- Liaising directly with clients under supervision
- Working with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice (essential)
- Studying towards AAT / ACA / ACCA (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
- Experience preparing accounts to trial balance level
- Some exposure to corporation tax and personal tax
- Good working knowledge of accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
