This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Senior to join a specialist agricultural team, working with farming businesses, rural enterprises and entrepreneurial agri-businesses . The role offers a varied mix of accounts, tax compliance and advisory work, with excellent opportunities for career progression. The Role You'll manage a varied portfolio of agricultural and rural clients, providing high-quality accounting and tax services while developing trusted client relationships. Key responsibilities include: Prepare and oversee annual farm and rural business accounts Prepare accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships and companies Review personal and corporation tax computations Prepare and review VAT returns Oversee bookkeeping and management accounting services Prepare forecasts and financial projections Analyse income and expenditure to support client decision-making Identify accounting, tax and commercial planning opportunities Liaise with clients and HMRC Assist with business start-ups and restructuring Gain exposure to IHT and CGT planning Attend client meetings and farm visits Build strong relationships with agricultural and rural clients About You You'll have previous experience within an accountancy practice and a strong background in accounts preparation and tax compliance. xdjnayx You'll ideally have: AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or nearing qualification Experience in an Accounts Senior or similar role Strong accounts preparation and tax compliance knowledge Experience working with different business structures Good knowledge of accounting and tax software Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and client relationship skills A proactive, commercial and client-focused approach What's o...
