This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced General Practice Partner , Accounts Partner , or established Accountancy Director looking to take the next step in their career within a progressive and ambitious firm. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future growth of the practice, managing a high-quality client portfolio, leading teams, and delivering strategic business advice to a diverse range of clients. The Role As an Accounts Partner , you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, providing commercial accounting and advisory support while contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm. Key responsibilities include: Managing, developing, and growing a diverse portfolio of clients Acting as a trusted business adviser to owner-managed businesses and complex clients Overseeing accounts preparation, audit, and tax-related services Delivering high-quality client solutions while maintaining strong technical standards Leading client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value Driving business development activities and generating new opportunities Supporting cross-selling across wider service lines Leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams Managing WIP, billing, fees, and portfolio profitability Supporting strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and drive firm growth About You You will be an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with significant experience gained within a UK accountancy practice. You will have: Experience operating at Partner, Director, or senior leadership level A strong background in accounts preparation and general practice services Experience managing and growing a client portfolio Strong commercial and business development skills The ability to build trusted relationships with clients and professional advisers Experience leading and developing teams Excellent technical accounting knowledge A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset This role would suit an ambitious Accounts Partner , General Practice Partner , or Director seeking a platform to make a significant impact within a growing firm.
