We're recruiting a Corporate Tax Manager for a growing accountancy practice in Winchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager or Senior looking for a varied role combining corporate tax compliance, advisory and client management, with exposure to entrepreneurial businesses and larger corporate groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients
- Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns
- Support Partners with tax advisory projects
- Advise on M&A, management buyouts, restructures, demergers and succession planning
- Support tax due diligence, R&D claims and capital allowances
- Advise on tax accounting and wider tax implications for company owners
- Manage compliance projects including ATED returns and relief declarations
- Draft technical tax reports and advisory letters
- Attend new client meetings and help develop client relationships
- Liaise with clients and HMRC where required
- Support and develop junior members of the team
- Ensure assignments are delivered accurately, on time and within budget
About You
- CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualified UK tax practice experience
- Strong corporate tax compliance and advisory experience
- Excellent client relationship and project management skills
- Strong technical and commercial awareness
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong IT and Excel skills
- Proactive, confident and self-motivated
- Able to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Strong judgement and understanding of risk
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a corporate tax and advisory team
