We're recruiting an Accounts Manager for a leading accountancy practice in Trowbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Manager, Client Manager or Senior Accountant to manage a varied portfolio of clients while providing proactive accounting, tax and business advisory support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts and business advisory clients
- Act as the main point of contact for clients
- Review statutory accounts, tax returns and compliance work
- Provide proactive accounting, tax and commercial advice
- Identify opportunities for tax planning and additional advisory services
- Support business development and client growth
- Lead, coach and develop junior team members
- Manage workflows, deadlines and client expectations
- Work closely with Partners and colleagues across the firm
- Ensure high standards of technical and client service delivery
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of accounts, tax and UK compliance
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify advisory opportunities
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- Proactive, professional and client-focused
