We're recruiting an experienced Audit Senior to join a growing accountancy practice in Taunton. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA-qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their audit career. You'll take responsibility for audit assignments, work directly with clients and support the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead audit fieldwork across a varied portfolio of clients
- Take responsibility for audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Prepare and review audit working papers and financial information
- Identify audit risks and ensure appropriate procedures are completed
- Liaise directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
- Review and supervise the work of junior team members
- Coach and support trainees, helping develop their technical skills
- Work closely with Managers and Partners on more complex assignments
- Ensure audits are completed accurately and within deadlines
