We're recruiting a Corporate Tax Senior Manager for a growing accountancy practice in Solihull.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CTA-qualified Corporate Tax professional looking to take a senior, advisory-focused role with significant client exposure, leadership responsibility and progression opportunities.
You'll work on a broad range of corporate tax advisory projects, while developing client relationships, mentoring junior staff and supporting business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead corporate tax advisory assignments, including restructures, reconstructions, M&A and acquisitions
- Advise clients on share schemes and venture capital schemes
- Manage complex tax projects from planning through to completion
- Act as a key contact for technical tax queries from clients and professional advisers
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor and develop junior members of the tax team
- Work closely with Directors and Partners on business development
- Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships and win new business
- Develop a recognised specialism and personal profile within the corporate tax market
- Build and expand a strong professional network
About You
- CTA qualified or equivalent, such as an ICAS tax qualification
- Strong post-qualified corporate tax experience
- Proven experience in corporate tax advisory
- Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving ability
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident working with clients and senior stakeholders
- Experience managing projects and developing junior team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and wider IT systems
- Proactive, ambitious and committed to continued professional development
