We're recruiting a Corporate Finance Associate Director for an established and growing accountancy practice in Solihull.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified corporate finance professional with proven transaction experience who is looking to take a senior role within a successful Midlands-based team.

You'll work with an entrepreneurial UK client base across M&A, lead advisory, valuations, due diligence and fundraising, taking responsibility for transactions and developing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage M&A and corporate finance transactions
  • Manage sale and acquisition mandates from initial stages through to completion
  • Negotiate key transaction terms and review legal documentation
  • Prepare company valuations and financial models
  • Lead financial due diligence and transaction analysis
  • Prepare Information Memorandums and management presentations
  • Support debt, equity and mezzanine fundraising projects
  • Attend client meetings and provide high-quality transaction advice
  • Conduct buyer, target and industry research
  • Manage deal processes, timelines and key deliverables
  • Develop sector expertise and build strong client relationships
  • Coach and develop junior corporate finance team members

About You

  • ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
  • Proven experience leading and executing corporate finance transactions
  • Strong M&A and Lead Advisory experience
  • Experience in valuations, due diligence and financial modelling
  • Advanced Excel and financial forecasting skills
  • Excellent commercial awareness and analytical ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple transactions
  • Proactive, autonomous and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
