We're recruiting an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join a growing accountancy practice in Cleckheaton .
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA, ATT or CTA-qualified tax professional , or someone qualified by experience, with at least three years' personal tax experience.
You'll manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, oversee compliance work, provide proactive tax advice and support the continued development of the firm's personal tax offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Review Self Assessment tax returns prepared by junior colleagues
- Provide proactive, efficient and commercially focused tax advice
- Oversee client deadlines and ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Manage WIP, billing and client fees
- Liaise with Partners and Managers regarding client work and progress
- Mentor and train Tax Trainees and junior team members
- Identify tax planning and advisory opportunities across the client portfolio
- Assist with ad hoc personal tax advisory projects
- Contribute to wider advisory assignments where appropriate
- Support business development through articles, presentations, networking and client communications
- xwwtmva Keep up to date with UK tax legislation and HMRC procedures
- Communicate relevant tax developments to clients
- Maintain appropriate technical CPD and professional development
About You
- ACA, ATT or CTA qualified , or qualified by experience
- Minimum 3 years' personal tax experience
- Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance
- Experience reviewing tax returns and managing client portfolios
