We're recruiting a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager for a fast-growing accountancy practice in Farnham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax Senior or Assistant Manager looking to develop their advisory experience while working with a diverse portfolio of UK and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns
- Work with a broad portfolio including trading companies, investment companies and international groups
- Support tax advisory projects including M&A, due diligence, restructures, demergers and succession planning
- Advise on R&D tax relief and capital allowances
- Gain exposure to international tax matters including corporate residence, withholding tax and Pillar 2
- Support wider tax planning for company owners and shareholders
- Draft tax reports, technical advice and client correspondence
- Attend new client meetings and help develop existing relationships
- Support and train junior members of the tax team
- Ensure assignments are completed accurately, on time and within budget
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified
- At least 3 years' UK accountancy practice experience
- Strong corporate tax compliance knowledge
- Keen to develop your corporate tax advisory experience
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Strong Excel and IT skills
- Commercial, proactive and solutions-focused
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and professional approach
- Strong team player with an interest in developing others
