We're recruiting a Corporate Tax Senior for a leading and growing accountancy practice in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Tax Senior, Tax Senior or Tax Semi Senior looking to develop their career within a supportive tax team.
The role offers a strong mix of corporate tax compliance and advisory work, with exposure to SMEs, owner-managed businesses and larger companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporation tax computations and tax returns
- Assist with corporate tax advisory and tax planning
- Support R&D tax relief claims
- Assist with capital allowances and corporate restructuring
- Gain exposure to tax due diligence and corporate transactions
- Undertake tax technical research
- Identify tax planning opportunities
- Liaise with clients, HMRC and internal teams
- Manage deadlines and deliver high-quality client work
- Support and mentor junior tax team members
About You
We're looking for an experienced corporate tax professional with accountancy practice experience.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in Corporate Tax
- ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or studying
- Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax
- Experience preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- An interest in developing tax advisory and tax planning skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong organisation and time management
- A proactive and commercially focused approach
- Alphatax experience advantageous
