We're recruiting an Audit Assistant Manager for a leading accountancy practice in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified ACA or ACCA Audit Senior looking to step into an Assistant Manager role with increased responsibility, client exposure and leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver statutory audits for a varied corporate client portfolio
- Lead larger and more complex audit assignments
- Manage audit teams on-site and in the office
- Review audit working papers and prepare files for Manager and Partner review
- Work with clients to resolve audit and accounting issues
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Supervise, coach and mentor junior audit staff
- Support Managers and Partners on technical and ad hoc projects
- Gain exposure to group audits and consolidated accounts
- Work with UK GAAP, FRS 102 and IFRS
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong statutory audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience managing audit assignments and junior staff
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- Group audit and IFRS experience advantageous
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong organisation and time management
- Commercial and client-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Comfortable using audit software and digital accounting tools
