We're recruiting an experienced Audit Partner or Audit Director ready to step up to join a growing accountancy practice in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious audit professional to take a leading role across client delivery, audit quality, team leadership and business development, working with a varied portfolio of SMEs, owner-managed businesses and larger groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Deliver high-quality audits in line with UK GAAP, IFRS and professional standards
- Act as a trusted adviser, providing commercially focused insight to clients
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Support the strategic growth and development of the audit practice
- Lead, mentor and develop audit teams
- Drive audit quality, technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
- Contribute to the firm's wider strategic and commercial objectives
About You
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
- Significant post-qualified external audit xgikmsk experience
- Proven experience leading audits and managing client relationships
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards
- Experience working with SMEs, owner-managed businesses and/or larger groups
- Previous experience at Audit Manager, Senior Manager, Director or Partner level
- RI status, or the ability and willingness to obtain RI status
