An excellent opportunity has become available with a well-established housing provider delivering supported housing and tenancy sustainment services across the UK. With a large portfolio of supported living projects, my client provides high-quality housing management and support services to vulnerable individuals and young people.

Vacancy Brief

  • Initially a 3-month interim contract with the potential for an extension.
  • Full-time position – 35 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • £13.71 per hour PAYE or £17.66 per hour Umbrella
  • Based in Hereford
  • An Enhanced DBS covering both Child and Adult Workforce is required for this position
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential

The Role

You will be supporting young people living within supported accommodation, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and resilience required to move towards independent living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support young people to develop independent living skills, including budgeting, managing household bills, maximising income, and accessing appropriate benefits and debt advice.
  • Assist young people in securing and maintaining suitable accommodation and provide support where there is a risk of homelessness.
  • Manage a caseload, carrying out assessments, developing support plans, and delivering tailored support interventions.
  • Encourage engagement with education, training, employment, and volunteering opportunities.
  • Support individuals to build positive relationships within their communities and address issues relating to anti-social behaviour or tenancy sustainment.
  • Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes through person-centred support.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting young people, vulnerable adults, or individuals within supported housing services.
  • Knowledge of homelessness, tenancy sustainment, housing management, or floating support services.
  • Experience managing a caseload and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong communication, engagement, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce).
