Rate: £180 per day
Contract: 3-8 weeks

We're currently looking for a hands-on IT Technician to join a school in Solihull on a short-term contract.
/n
This is a great opportunity for an IT Support professional who enjoys practical, hands-on work and has experience building, imaging and preparing laptops for deployment.
/n
The Role
/n
You'll be responsible for preparing a large number of laptops for use across the school, ensuring devices are correctly configured, fully updated and ready for users.
/n
Alongside the deployment work, you'll provide general IT support and help resolve day-to-day technical issues where required.
/n
Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Image and prepare Windows laptops for deployment.
/n
- Configure devices, applications, software and updates.
/n
- Carry out hardware and software troubleshooting.
/n
- Ensure laptops meet the required configuration and deployment standards.
/n
- Keep accurate records of devices and deployment activity.
/n
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support when required.
/n
- Assist with resolving technical issues across the school environment.
/n
- Work efficiently to meet agreed deployment deadlines.
/n

What We're Looking For
/n
/n
- Previous experience in an IT Technician, IT Support or Desktop Support role.
/n
- Proven hands-on experience with laptop imaging and deployment.
/n
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems.
/n
- Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
/n
- Strong practical IT skills and attention to detail.
/n
- Good communication skills and a professional approach.
/n
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy environment.
/n
- Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
