Job Description Trainee Underwriter - Nottingham - Hybrid - £29,000 + Bonus An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Underwriter to join an established financial services business based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within underwriting, lending or financial services, with full training and ongoing development provided. Taking ownership of individual performance and identifying areas for improvement. 6 months plus experience working in a commercial environment (doesn't have to be the same industry but that will be favoured). ~ Previous experience within underwriting, lending, financial services, customer service, customer-facing, sales or a telephone-based environment would be beneficial, although full training will be provided. The successful candidate will join an established financial services organisation with a strong focus on customer outcomes, employee development and continuous improvement. The role is based from the company's Nottingham office. During the initial training period, you will be required to attend the office full time. After a couple months, more flexibility will be introduced, going down to 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH. All equipment provided for home and office working. Starting salary will be £29,000 with a quick progression scheme to progress this over a short time.
