Overview: We are a growing Managed Service Provider based in West London seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our technical team. You'll work across a diverse client base, managing and supporting network infrastructure, delivering project work, and providing high-level support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in dynamic environments and further your career in a fast-paced MSP setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Troubleshoot network issues across Layer 1-3 in client environments (on-site and remote)
  • Configure VPNs (site-to-site and client-to-site), firewalls, and network security appliances
  • Monitor network health using RMM tools (e.g., Auvik, ConnectWise, N-able)
  • Implement VLANs, manage routing, and optimise network performance
  • Design and support Wi-Fi networks, ensuring signal strength and stability
  • Assist with cloud network integration (Azure/AWS), including hybrid setups
  • Document client networks, changes, and project work to a high standard
  • Provide occasional on-site support across London and participate in on-call rotation

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Solid knowledge of IP networking, routing, switching, subnetting, and DNS/DHCP
  • Experience with firewalls and security appliances (e.g., Fortinet, SonicWall, Cisco)
  • Hands-on experience with MSP toolsets (RMM, PSA, documentation platforms)
  • Strong understanding of VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, and managed switching
  • Proven track record of deploying and troubleshooting wireless networks (e.g., Unifi, Meraki)
  • Working knowledge of Azure/AWS networking fundamentals
  • Clear written and verbal communication for client interaction and documentation
  • Experience supporting VoIP/QoS solutions is a plus

  • CompTIA Network+ / Security+
  • Cisco CCNA / CCNP
  • Fortinet NSE 4+
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
