We're partnering with an established organisation to hire a Network Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team. This is an excellent opportunity for networking professionals at varying levels of experience to work across modern enterprise environments, supporting the design, implementation, and optimisation of critical network infrastructure. You'll play a key role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of enterprise networking services while working alongside infrastructure, security, and platform engineering teams. The role offers exposure to a broad range of technologies including routing, switching, network security, virtualisation, automation, and cloud-connected environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, and data centre network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and availability, investigating and resolving network incidents and faults.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and associated networking equipment.
- Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure transformation projects.
- Support network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, access control policies, and secure remote connectivity.
