Mid-Level Developer

Location: Castleford - 3 days on-site
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

The Role
/n
We are working with an established organisation that is looking for a Mid-Level Developer to join a small, collaborative IT team.
/n
This is a great opportunity for a developer who has progressed beyond junior level and is looking to take ownership of development work, contribute to key business systems and help modernise existing technology.
/n
You'll work across a varied technical environment, developing and maintaining applications while also getting involved in improving systems, integrations and overall architecture. There's plenty of opportunity to broaden your technical skills and have a genuine impact on the organisation's technology roadmap.
/n
The Technical Environment
/n
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience with:
/n
/n
- C# and .NET Framework
/n
- WinForms, including maintaining and enhancing legacy applications
/n
- Blazor
/n
- SQL Server, including database design and optimisation
/n
- System integration and managing data across multiple platforms
/n
- Software development principles, testing and version control
/n
/n
Experience working with legacy technologies such as VB.NET or Delphi would also be beneficial.
/n
Desirable Experience
/n
/n
- Modernising legacy applications and moving towards more maintainable architectures
/n
- ASP.NET Core or other modern .NET technologies
/n
- DevExpress or similar third-party development components
/n
- VBA
/n
- ERP systems
/n
- Experience within manufacturing, logistics or another operational environment
/n
- Integrating multiple business systems and managing data flows
/n
/n
