We are currently seeking an experienced IT Manager to support a school environment in West London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining and improving the school's ICT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable and effective for both teaching and administrative use. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to support day-to-day IT operations, deliver infrastructure projects and provide technical guidance across the school.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the school's network infrastructure and ICT systems
  • Maintaining switches, servers, Microsoft 365, backups and core systems
  • Providing 2nd/3rd line support
  • Supporting staff with technical advice and training
  • Managing IT requests and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
  • Line managing ICT support staff
  • Producing regular service updates and reports
  • Ensuring systems are compliant with school policies
  • Supporting IT improvement projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-3+ years' experience as an IT Manager, Network Manager or Senior ICT Consultant within a school environment
  • Strong knowledge of school IT systems and infrastructure
  • Experience upgrading or improving school networks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

This is a full-time, year-round position. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
