An exciting and fast-growing organisation is looking for a Head of PMO to lead and evolve its Project Management Office. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on establishing best-in-class governance, overseeing a complex portfolio of programmes and projects, and ensuring delivery aligns with strategic business objectives. You'll take ownership of PMO maturity, delivery standards, and portfolio performance across the organisation. Operating at a senior level with four direct reports, you'll work closely with Executive leadership, Product, Technology, and Business functions to ensure delivery is commercially focused, transparent, and outcome-driven. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership capacity, enjoys building and scaling PMO functions, and can influence at board level while driving delivery excellence across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the PMO vision, strategy, and operating model
- Own and oversee the full project and programme portfolio, ensuring alignment to business strategy
- Establish and embed governance frameworks, methodologies, and delivery standards
- Provide portfolio-level visibility, reporting, and insights to executive and board stakeholders
- Drive prioritisation and resource allocation across the portfolio
