IT Support Engineer in Desborough

Onsite IT Technician | £26, to £32, Paid Certs Mileage

We\’re supporting a growing organisation looking for a confident, people focused Onsite IT Technician to join their team. This is a hands on role working across local sites, providing end user support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with small infrastructure projects.

You\’ll be the go to technical presence onsite, ideal for someone who enjoys face to face support, taking ownership, and seeing the impact of their work immediately.

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Providing deskside and floor walk support across multiple locations
• Troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11, Office, printers, networking and hardware issues
• Managing user accounts in Active Directory, Azure AD and Intune
• Setting up new kit including laptops, mobiles, peripherals and AV equipment
• Supporting small upgrade and migration projects
• Working with the wider IT Support and Infrastructure teams
• Maintaining documentation and escalating issues when needed

What They\’re Looking For

• Experience in 1st or 2nd Line Support, or Field Support
• Strong troubleshooting skills and confidence working independently
• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, Office, Active Directory and basic networking
• Experience with Intune or Mobile Device Management is beneficial
• A people first attitude and confidence interacting with users daily
• Full UK driving licence with mileage covered or company vehicle provided
