We\’re a well-established Managed Service Provider based in Berkshire, delivering reliable, high-quality IT solutions to a growing portfolio of clients. We\’re looking for a capable and motivated 3rd Line Engineer to join our team and handle complex escalations, project delivery, and infrastructure improvements – both remotely and on-site.
The Role:
- Act as an escalation point for 2nd Line and Service Desk teams across a variety of technologies
- Deliver infrastructure projects such as server migrations, OS deployments, networking upgrades, and cloud implementations
- Troubleshoot and maintain environments across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Hyper-V/VMware, networking, and security
- Work directly with clients and internal teams to ensure technical issues are resolved efficiently and projects are delivered to a high standard
- Mentor junior engineers and support ongoing service improvement
What We\’re Looking For:
- 3 years of hands-on IT support experience, including 2nd and 3rd Line responsibilities
- Some MSP experience – enough to understand the pace, variety, and customer focus involved
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft ecosystems: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure
- Virtualization experience (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
- Solid understanding of networking: firewalls, switching, routing, VPNs
- A customer-first attitude with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- A full UK driving license (occasional client site visits may be required)
