Oscar MEP are a multidisciplinary Building Services design practice with offices in London and Kent. We have an established work stream from existing clients providing engineering design and survey services for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health) Systems as well as vertical transportation.
Oscar MEP seeks an Intermediate/Senior Mechanical Engineer for a full-time, hybrid working role due to planned growth & a secured pipeline of upcoming projects. The chosen candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical building services systems, completing building surveys and developing innovative solutions. This role involves utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools, overseeing new project research and development (R&D), and collaborating with the wider project design teams to ensure project success. The position also requires adherence to industry standards.
The hybrid working role combines remote and in-office working, allowing the successful candidate to split their time between Oscar MEP Kent & London offices as well as remote working to improve work-life balance and productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Building Services Mechanical Engineering
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and engineering software tools
- Project Management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Familiarity with Research and Development (R&D) processes and innovative problem-solving
- Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related field or working towards
- Experience with installation practices for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems
- Experience/qualifications in sustainability is an advantage
- Full UK drivers license
