The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Machinist / Toolmaker to join a growing team. This is a dynamic and varied role within a small, close-knit team, supporting a range of exciting new customer programmes and contributing directly to the continued growth and success of the business. You’ll work across diverse tooling projects from concept through to completion, playing a key part in delivering the quality and reliability our customers depend on.

Key Responsibilities

  • CNC and manual machining (milling, turning, grinding, EDM) to high precision.
  • Tool assembly, fitting, and bench work to final tolerance.
  • Reading and interpreting 3D CAD drawings and technical documentation.
  • Working closely with project engineers to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Supporting new and ongoing customer programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

About You

  • Time-served Toolmaker or Precision Machinist.
  • Experience in injection mould tooling or similar precision engineering environment.
  • Previous toolmaking experience would be a strong advantage and will be highly valued.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing top-quality work.
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
